kiwikins answered your question: is Essie nail polish supposed to be a chippy disappointment? Not at all! What brand is your base or top coat? I don’t use basecoats ever. I stick with my usual Sally Hansen Insta Dry top coat. I do also have the Essie top coat, but I didn’t care for it. It must not like my nails.
